Based in Lagos, Onyema Okonjo is the CEO of Giant Beverages Limited, a ground-breaking company that is disrupting the beverage industry across Nigeria and South Africa.

Prior to taking this plunge into entrepreneurship, Onyema focused his time and energy on acquiring a quality education. An alumni of King’s College and the prestigious Achimota School, Onyema set off for the United States to earn his final degree: a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland.

While still residing in the States, Onyema began his career by starting his own business building computers, as Dell and Gateway’s swift uptick in popularity created a greater need for personal devices across the nation. Onyema leveraged that experience to join the team at Matrix Software, where he served as the Managing Director and oversaw large-scale Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) projects and software applications for government agencies in Nigeria.
